Fishing Creek Lodge is a friendly and laid back happy place, nestled in between State Game Lands #13, the largest of the Pennsylvania State Game Lands. We’re also only 4.3 miles from Ricketts Glen State Park. Lake Jean, located near the state park visitors center, offers a beach, kayak and rowboat rentals during the summer, as well as fishing all year round. We love being your AirBnB Superhosts and we’re always available to answer any questions about the lodge or the area. Terry is an area native and can definitely tell you where the best spots are!

Hiker’s Café No. 13 is located right next door to the Lodge! The café has delicious breakfast and lunch sandwiches, homemade baked goods, regular and gourmet coffee drinks! Please see the café website page for hours and more information.

The lodge also has a stocked guest kitchen that’s yours to use as you wish. Feel free to cook whatever food we have there, or bring your own to store in the refrigerator during your stay. There’s picnic tables and a gas grill on the porch for you to enjoy outdoor eating as well! 

Relax and sip a drink by the fire pit in the evening, or have fun with the family throwing horseshoes or playing Volleyball and Badminton on the side lawn. Talk a walk down the shared driveway to the creek at the bridge and sit on the rocks to unwind and watch the fish jump in the evening. When the creek dries up temporarily for the summer, you can stroll in the creek bed searching for fun rocks.

Is it a rainy evening? Press the Netflix button on the remote and watch a new movie or an old favorite, or sit and play a board games and read a book in our guest lounge.

We have two guest bathrooms on the second floor, conveniently located right near the rooms. They are a one-person-at-a-time bathroom with a privacy lock, just like in your own home. They are very clean and stocked with all of your basic needs.
